A program of Texas Health Action, the Kind Clinic provides sexual health services including PrEP and PEP access, STI testing and treatment, HIV testing, and gender affirming care to Central Texans in need. The Kind Clinic strives to provide sexual health services to all members of the LGBTQ community and allies, regardless of race, creed, gender expression, or sexual orientation. Changing the conversation. Flo Code is a leader and support organization in the Austin community donating over 330,000 menstrual products to 30+ organizations, shelters and natural disaster victims. At Flo Code we work to advance the common good by focusing on health, education and social injustice in our community. We also strive to educate, bring awareness to and end the stigma of menstruation in our society. DIVERSIDAD SIN FRONTERAS
Diversidad Sin Fronteras Texas (DSFtx) is a small, volunteer run collective that organizes support for the roughly 25 asylum-seeking trans women in detention in Pearsall TX, just 2 hours south of Austin. DSFtx is aims to interrupt the particularly isolating and dehumanizing process of being detained that LGBTQ asylum-seekers face.

Deeds Not Words is a youth-led organization, empowering young Texans to become more civically engaged. Their youth leaders in Austin will be joining us at SOTU to register folks to vote! Stop by their table and make sure you’re ready for this year’s election.
WHOLE WOMANS HEALTH ALLIANCE (@wwhalliance)
Whole Woman’s Health Alliance is working to strategically shift the stigma around abortion in our culture. We are committed to fostering open and honest conversations, lifting up all communities, and transforming the abortion care environment. We believe that everyone deserves the dignity and respect to be at the center of their health care decisions. That’s why we fight harmful anti-abortion laws. Litigation is an important means of countering laws that present undue burdens on women who seek abortions. Stop by their table to write a thank-you letter to an abortion provider.

“I was born in the early 90’s in colonial Hong Kong and grew up in the post-colonial period thereafter. I moved to Houston, Texas when I was 13 and went on to attend The University of Texas at Austin after high school. I’ve been living in Austin ever since. My work draws from my experience of being an immigrant as well as my experience as a nonbinary person existing within two cultures. As a millennial who grew up watching VHS tapes on the weekends to witnessing the rise of smart phones before turning 20, I also draw on a feeling of consumerist nostalgia with my visual works.” Stop by Tsz’s table to take a picture with their custom, blacklight backdrop for SOTU’s official photobooth.

A Design Strategist and Product Manager at Austin Convention Center with a BBA in Marketing. A freelance model who paints, photographs, writes, and collaborates with friends on executing community art events to elevate multicultural identifying artists. Her life goal is to inspire 1 million people in her lifetime and do that by empowering humans through tech, design thinking, creativity, and meaningful conversations.

Leika is an Austin, Texas, based photographer whose collegiate studies in French and Literature inspire the philosophy, romanticism, and spirit of rebellion within her work. A modern romantic, her photographs explore the the gentle and chaotic wildness of nature both terrestrial and human, alongside the harmonious dichotomy of proverbial and literal darkness and light. Self taught in digital photography, Leika creates a classical feel with anachronistic details in her still life and portraits, inspired by painters such as Artemisia Gentileschi. Through her work, she seeks to embolden her audience to create, to share their unique perspectives and stories, and to answer the call to close the gap between the privileged elite and the systemically oppressed.

FUND TEXAS CHOICE
Fund Texas Choice is a practical support abortion fund that was created in response to Texas House Bill 2 (HB2), which led to the closure of over half the number of abortion clinics in Texas. We help folks who live in Texas get to their abortion appointments by providing assistance with transportation and lodging.
